Influencing Factors on Donation Intention in a Nursing Students

Abstract
This study attempted to analyze the influencing factors of donation intention based on Theory of Reasoned Action in order to reflect the changing donation culture of nursing students, the Z generation, who are currently leading change and creating a new culture.
Donation experience and donation attitude to reflect and analyze individual characteristics, moral identity and community spirit to reflect subjective norms and altruistic motives, donation fun and donation institution trust to reflect changing donation culture and generational changes was set as an additional variable to confirm the influencing factors of donation intention.
Differences in donation intention according to general characteristics were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe test. The correlation between donation experience, donation attitude, moral identity, community spirit, trust in donation institutions, fun in donation, and donation intention was analyzed by Person's correlation coefficients. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the factors affecting the donation intention of the subjects.
As a result of the study, the explanatory power of donation intention was 63.0%, and it was found that community spirit, trust in donation institutions, donation attitude, donation experience, and fun of donation were affected(F=26.56, p>.001). Therefore, various campaigns or policies that can enhance the intention of donation by developing and applying programs that can enhance the community spirit of nursing students and improving trust in donation institutions and key variables should be presented.
